    The Hearth
The Hearth is the area of the Library for anyone to sit and talk as long as they wish. It’s by the Tea Table but open to any visitor.

    Hi Natalie,

Congratulations! You don’t know me, but I’ve been reading the YLCF website for years.

Anyways, I was wondering if I could get a password(?) at least I think that’s what I need to view the site. I love reading.

    Thanks!
    Rachel

I have been reading the YLCF site for a couple of months now and am excited about this new venture! Can I add the link to my blog? (http://godmadeplaydough.blogspot.com)
I also would like to join the Qwest for reading 10 books in 2008. Are these books of our choosing, or do you have a list?
    Congratulations on the new site!

    HeartThoughts Chat?
If anyone would be interested in having a real-time chat sometime, via some instant messenger program, would you let me know? I would like to put together an evening of discussing books and perhaps what we’ve learned in Quest Two.

Just so everyone knows…I am engaged to be married! My beau of two years proposed to me last night :) We are going to be married on May 10, Lord willing.

Natalie, I’d be interested in joining a real-time chat … if I can, given that I’m in a VERY different time zone to Heart Thoughts HQ! :D In THEORY, however, talking about books and Quest 2 in real-time sounds like a fun and lovely possibility (even if I have to get up in the middle of the night to do it!). :)

Lovely sight. I’m falling in love with this online retreat already.

    Quest Two Completion
There are a few weeks left in Quest Two–and about 6 weeks for those who want to take longer and finish by June 1. If you went through this with us, please let us know when you finish so we can post and celebrate with you!

I’m not sure if this is the right place to comment, but I’ve finished Revelation (actually, I finished it on Monday, but have been too busy to comment since then!) … and I’m happy! I found reading through the Bible in three months very challenging, but very rewarding. I’m glad I did it … and loving the sense of accomplishment! :)

We are having a HeartThoughts live chat on Thursday, May 29 at 9 pm CST! See my post in the Journal for more details.
